Set Favicon, Social Preview Title & Description

(Update Favicon, Set Preview Image, Title, and Description for Social Sharing)

  1. Go to the “Configure” tab inside a game/campaign

    • In your Playzo dashboard, go to Configure (or the equivalent settings area).

  2. Upload/Change Favicon

    • Select the edit (pencil) icon on the Favicon.

    • Upload a small, brand-appropriate icon (.png or .ico).

    • This favicon appears in browser tabs when users access your game link.

  3. Set a Preview Image

    • Click the edit icon on the Preview Image.

    • Choose an eye-catching image that will be displayed when your game link is shared on social media or messaging apps.

  4. Preview Title & Description

    • Preview Title: A short headline that appears in link previews (e.g., “Jump Up Challenge”).

    • Preview Description: A concise tagline or summary to spark interest (e.g., “Test your reflexes in our fun jump challenge!”).

  5. Save Changes

    • When done, click Update.

    • Your favicon, preview image, and share details will now reflect these settings whenever someone opens or shares your game link.

Tips for a Great Shareable Link

  • Use High-Quality, Compressed Images: Crisp visuals improve your game’s appearance in browser tabs and link previews.

  • Craft a Compelling Title & Description: Clear and catchy titles increase click-through rates on social media or chat platforms like Play this Exciting Game & Win Rewards!

  • Compress Images: Don't upload images that are too heavy images otherwise it will take too much time to load

  • Allow Time for Caching: Social platforms might take a while to refresh preview images, so you may not see changes immediately.
