Custom Domain

Setting up a custom domain for your game or interactive experience on Playzo is simple. Just follow these easy steps:

Step-by-Step Guide:

  1. Navigate to Domain Settings

    • Go to the Configure tab of the Game for which you want to set the Custom Domain and select Set Custom Domain

  1. Enter Your Desired Subdomain or Domain

    • Type in the subdomain where you want your Playzo game to be hosted.

    • Example: xyz.yourdomain.com or xyz.com

  2. Obtain DNS Information

    • After entering your subdomain, you'll see a message: "DNS Setup Required."

    • Playzo will display DNS records that you need to add to your domain provider as per your region

    • You will typically see a record similar to:

      • Record Type: A

      • Name: xyz

  1. Configure DNS Records

    • Log in to your domain provider's account (like Cloudflare, GoDaddy, or Namecheap).

    • Add the provided DNS records exactly as displayed in the PlayZo dashboard.

    • For example, on Cloudflare:

      • Navigate to your domain settings.

      • Click on DNS Management.

      • Add a new A record with the name provided (test2.playzo.io).

      • Keep the proxy OFF

  2. Verify DNS Setup

    • Once you've added the DNS records, return to the Playzo dashboard.

    • Click on Verify DNS setup.

Your custom domain setup will then be verified by Playzo, usually within a few minutes. After verification, your Playzo game or experience will be live on your custom domain!
